Maximal Capital was founded in 2017 by Sarvesh Gupta, SEBI registered investment adviser. Sarvesh has been reading and practicing the art of value investing for over 15 years. He has also spent the last 10 years working professionally in the buy side space across public equity and private equity firms. Before Maximal, Sarvesh was the Portfolio Manager with Trivantage Capital, a Mumbai based PMS firm. At Trivantage, he managed multiple schemes and generated double-digit alpha in portfolios for high net-worth individuals as well as family offices & institutional capital. Before Trivantage, Sarvesh was Principal with Gaja Capital, one of India’s best-known private equity firm with AUM over INR 2000 crores. At Gaja, he researched and invested in a variety of companies ranging from consumer, financial services, Infra/capital goods etc. Sarvesh is an MBA from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) and engineer from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IITKGP).
